The decision is yours however i would look at it this way - if the light is on for some minor glitch then it shouldnt take much fixing, however what happens if you dont get it checked, your in an accident and the airbag that doesnt deploy is the one that would have stopped you or a friends head bouncing off the window/dashboard/sidepillar etc - the few quid it would cost to have checked would look cheap then.īe safe, not sorry when it comes to warning lights. Nope - an airbag issue can mean the airbag will deploy accidentally - ok so in the 6 years ive been working for a German car manufacturer ive never heard of it happen, but we still have to warn people about it.
