I can't play the key boards at all but I should probably get a key board just to tap in ideas?Ģ. If some one could post up a visual of such MIDI notes it would be a great help for me to get my head around it I hope you'll forgive my newbieness but I'm just drawing in notes on a MIDI clip so it's very much trial and error based. How can I go about this in Live? Put a sample into Simpler or is a job for Operator?. I really want to create a rolling synth or bassline in a similar vein to any Giorgio Moroder work or Chris Source's "Hugs&Kisses" being a more recent example(this is an absolute belter by the way and the reason why I'm in love with Barcelona!). I still only have the Demo of Operator but will be upgrading soon.ġ. Having poured through countless magazines trying to pick up production techniques I've finally begun to learn more midi based progamming now that I have Computer Musics Essential Guide to Ableton. i just need to change the midi channel on each of my project.I've been djing with Live for a few months now and have only recently begun exploring the production side. not really a big deal, but all my project on the hardware sequencer send midi data to the banned via midi 2. The change pattern via midi program change need the banned to be on midi channel 1 ? or i've missed something ? it works only on channel 1. Os 2.0 is really nice i love the transpose via midi, the triplet mode too. But now, another issue, my banned doesn't respond to midi with sokkos 2.0, im getting really crazy.Įdit : ok, i've finally downgrade the os and then get back to 2.0 and it works ! i've finally found a way to update the os, via control, but as control can't save pattern due to some disconnection with the banned, i use safebox to backup pattern and eeprom and it works, its not the easier way, but im happy.

When you download both MIDI File and MP3 (where available), you get a bonus discount on the Mp3 backing track. To add to cart, click the MIDI or MP3 button. But ok, i've saved my data (pattern) via Safebox. From Here To Eternity MIDI File 'From Here To Eternity' MIDI File in the style of Giorgio Moroder. Opps sorry for my bad english.I was meaning after trying to save the patterns with banned, and opening the file with wordpad for example, the entiere file was empty, which probably means that the save pattern failed.
